Individual therapy provides the opportunity to vulnerably work through challenging issues in a supportive, caring, and confidential environment.
Individual therapy (sometimes called “psychotherapy” or “counseling”) is an opportunity to process through issues which tend to isolate us. Whether it is a mood disorder, addiction, relationship challenge, trauma, or some other issue keeping you from living a fulfilled life, we likely have a therapist who is a good fit for you. If not, we are willing to recommend another professional to help.
Your first step is to call us and schedule your initial appointment. We work hard to pair you with a therapist we believe is the best fit for you and your current struggles.
Your initial evaluation session provides an opportunity to build rapport with your therapist and provide them with some background about yourself and the reasons you are seeking counseling. In addition, the therapist can answer your questions regarding services, confidentiality, and what to expect in therapy. Together you will decide what kind of treatment is most beneficial for you.
At the end of the first session, if you decide to move forward and work with that therapist, you will be asked to schedule further appointments. During your first or second appointment, you will create goals with your therapist to set a direction for your overall therapy experience to achieve your goals.
