COVID-19: Teletherapy & Resources

As a result of the COVID-19 virus, PCS is now providing teletherapy by phone or video for individuals, couples, and families. We want to continue supporting our current Arizona clients and welcome new clients who are looking for a safe alternative to in person therapy.

Our Mission

At Psychological Counseling Services (PCS), we strive to provide a safe and challenging environment for individuals, couples, and families to receive the healing and restoration they need.

PCS Team Talking

Who We Are

PCS was established in 1974 by Ralph H. Earle, PhD. He was soon accompanied by his son, Marcus Earle, PhD, in 1988. Together, they developed the private practice, Psychological Counseling Services. PCS is our unique group dynamic, our approach to therapy, and every single individual who has been a part of our team. It is every team member’s knowledge, perspective, techniques, ability to connect, communication, and dedication that contributes to the company PCS is today.

Multi-Disciplinary Approach

Since the beginning, over 45 years ago, PCS has utilized a multi-disciplinary approach to provide individuals, couples, families, and partners with mental health treatment. The current intensive model evolved in 1993 through the integration of approaches utilized by Dr. Ralph Earle and Marilyn Murray, as well as the organizational skills of Dr. Marcus Earle. Our approach is continuously evolving through the incorporation of skills and styles from highly-trained, nationally-recognized mental health professionals, within and outside of our PCS team. This multidisciplinary approach coupled by psychoeducation, group, and individualized sessions.is considered the top option for difficult cases and an effective recovery strategy.

Although the PCS team provides treatment for a broad range of psychological disorders and family/relational issues, the practice has developed a unique niche and international recognition in the treatment of sexual addiction for addicts and their partners. The PCS Intensive Model — Steps to Health and Wholeness – has proven to be especially effective in identifying the negative core beliefs, family of origin issues, and trauma which interfere with long-term recovery.

We attribute our effectiveness in mental health treatment to our unique, multi-disciplinary approach established by our founders and built upon by highly-trained, nationally-recognized mental health professionals.
