About Ralph

Dr. Ralph Earle founded PCS in 1974 with the mission statement “Healing Hearts and Transforming Lives.” With more than 50 years of experience, Ralph works with clients from all backgrounds to increase their self-esteem, and create lasting change in their lives.

Ralph’s approach to therapy is systemic and relational. His original training occurred when Marriage and Family Therapy was first forming and at the time of his dissertation in 1969, the field of family therapy was a very new modality.

Ralph is an ordained minister, and it is his belief that while no two people have the same spiritual understanding, every person benefits from asking the question: ‘what do I believe?’ Ralph’s goal is to help clients develop their own understanding of spirituality. Any faith is welcome.

Ralph has been married for 62 years to a woman who is “nicer than I am.” He has two children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also a noted family therapist and psychologist, author and lecturer. He is past national President of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, is an Approved Supervisor for the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists and he is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychologists.

He is a national authority on sexual addiction with over 50 years’ experience working with sexual problems and works extensively with sex offenders. He has many media credits and is the author of several books including:

  • “Lonely All the Time: Recognizing, Understanding and Overcoming Sex Addiction”
  • “Come Here, Go Away, Sex Addiction: Case Studies and Management, Healing”
  • “Conversations: Therapy and Spiritual Growth”
  • “The Pornography Trap”

Dr. Earle served on the Board of Directors of the Interfaith Sexual Trauma Institute of St. John’s University, Minneapolis, MN. He serves as President of Psychological Counseling Services, Ltd. in Scottsdale, Arizona where he, Marilyn Murray and Dr. Marcus Earle pioneered the Intensive Treatment Program model in 1994.
