I believe that everyone deserves to feel truly seen, understood, and supported on their journey toward fulfillment. My goal is to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, develop emotional intelligence, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, fostering meaningful growth and self-discovery.
As a post-doctoral resident at PCS, I bring extensive training in providing therapy for individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges and interpersonal concerns. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from Northern Arizona University, where my dissertation focused on the maternal mortality crisis in the U.S. Specifically, I explored how women’s perceptions of pregnancy and childbirth are influenced by racial discrimination and institutional distrust within healthcare systems.
Throughout my clinical training, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings, gaining experience with children, adolescents, and adults. I completed my predoctoral internship at Copa Health, working with individuals struggling with severe mental illness (SMI), as well as those facing general mental health and substance use challenges. I have also worked with incarcerated juveniles at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections (ADJC), where I co-developed an empirically supported behavioral treatment program to assist with reintegration into society. In addition, I performed psychological evaluations that allowed me to provide personalized treatment recommendations for children, adolescents, and adults.
Whether you are working through past trauma, navigating relationship challenges, or seeking to improve your overall emotional well-being, I am here to help you become a stronger, more resilient version of yourself. My approach is integrative, combining evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological barriers that can hold us back.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, being a mother, listening to music and exploring my interests in documentaries and audiobooks.
We strive to match you with the right program and the right people. Call today to get started.
