About Robert

I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I am honored to provide a safe and supportive space for exploring and understanding yourself. With a client-centered and emotion-focused approach, I will work with you on your journey toward healing and growth. Creating a sense of safety for ourselves and taking the time to understand our own needs and emotions can open the door to personal growth and healthier relationships.

I am currently a fourth-year Doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Program at Northern Arizona University. In my previous internship, I provided mental health therapy services to students and resident physicians at a medical school in Phoenix. In my last position before going back to school, I counseled adults, adolescents and children on the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. I have over two decades of experience in crisis response and suicide prevention roles and this guides my work today helping individuals who are experiencing critical life challenges as well as clients feeling overwhelmed by current life situations.

In our free time, my wife and I like to drive mountain roads around the Southwest exploring ghost towns, discovering hidden streams, and watching wildlife.
